AREAS OF FOCUS
Military Affairs
For over 50 years, the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce has been a vital resource of service and support for the military stationed in our Space Coast community. The Chamber's initial efforts to assist the military were coordinated through a Military Committee. In 1991, these efforts evolved into the Military Affairs Council (MAC), which continues today, offering steadfast support to military members and their families.
The MAC is a dedicated, all-volunteer group of Chamber investors, both civilian and military, from the local area. Together, they work to enhance the quality of life in our community, with a special focus on the enlisted members of the services assigned to the Space Coast.
Small Business Service Center (SBSC)
The Small Business Service Center (SBSC) is a dedicated resource hub designed to empower small business owners with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to grow and succeed. The center offers a comprehensive range of educational programs and curated curricula tailored to meet the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs in Brevard County.
Through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one mentoring, the Small Business Service Center equips business owners with practical strategies for navigating key aspects of business management, including financial planning, marketing, legal considerations, HR and Labor strategies, sales techniques, and leadership development. The curriculum is designed to be accessible and actionable, ensuring that participants can immediately apply their learning to drive results.
In addition to education, the center fosters a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs, creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, and peer-to-peer learning. By leveraging partnerships with industry experts, local organizations, and business leaders, the Small Business Service Center provides its participants with cutting-edge insights, access to industry experts, and emerging resources to adapt and thrive in a competitive marketplace.

Space Exploration
Our region, famously known as the "Space Coast," is a hub of innovation, industry, and groundbreaking achievements in space exploration and commercialization. The thriving space industry is essential to the economic diversity of our MSA, playing a critical role in attracting and retaining the skilled talent needed for the high-skill, high-wage jobs it generates.
The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce's Space Council is dedicated to securing increased funding for space initiatives while fostering an environment that promotes the expansion of both commercial and government investments in the industry.
